Hot and cold pour materials are only good for 3" cracks regardless where you are. Any thing larger takes a solid repair material. I also wouldn't recommend hot patch for any home owner use. Proper equipment needs to be used. To cold and it will not work, to hot and you will have a fire on your hands that will be hard to put out.
